Toa Baja keeps Hilaire for another season

BSNF newcomer Llaneras de Toa Baja re-signed 23-year old American 157cm point guard Kaela Hilaire (college: Stony Brook). Hilaire played there last season. In 11 BSNF games she averaged 12.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 5.0apg and 1.9spg. A very good season in her career as she was voted to Puerto Rican BSNF All-Star Game. The last season she played at KIA Metropol Baskets Schwabach in German 2.Bundesliga where in 10 games she was league's fifth best scorer with impressive 19.3ppg and recorded 4.1rpg, 6.0apg (leader !!!) and 4.3spg (leader !!!) previous season. It was a very successful year in her career as she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga 2nd Team and League Player of the Week.
She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2020 and it will be her third season in pro basketball.
